As both a global research institute and a leading international development organization, RTI combines our project implementation and technical expertise with those of our partners to co-create smart, shared solutions for a more prosperous, equitable, and resilient world.  

For 60 years, beginning with our first international project in Nigeria helping to establish the national system of agricultural statistics (1963–67), we have collaborated with clients and partners across Africa to advance sustainable, multi-sectoral solutions for the most difficult development challenges. In all that we do, we strive for transformative change built on equity and inclusion.  

Our regional office in Nairobi, Kenya enables us to ensure quality project management, respond rapidly to client demands, build, and maintain local partnerships, and identify public-private partnerships for sustainable development.
