Providing statistical leadership and support for health science research
Our capabilities in biostatistics cover a broad array of modern methods in the statistical design, conduct, monitoring, and reporting of studies related to human health, as well as analyzing the resultant data. We lead and support multisite studies, randomized clinical trials, registries, and disease surveillance programs, as well as longitudinal and other observational studies—studies that span a wide range of public health subject areas for a wide array of clients and agencies.
We synthesize existing literature and RTI experience to assess the feasibility of trials and studies on topics of client interest. Our biostatisticians play a crucial role in reviewing proposed studies by providing key input on their methodological soundness. We help collaborative research groups target resources toward studies that are scientifically sound and have the greatest potential for helping clients to make a positive impact on human health.
