Tailoring, testing, and implementing data collection tools across all survey modes
The choice of survey mode—in-person, telephone, web, or mail—is a critical component of survey design and instrument development, and another tool that helps us meet each client’s specific needs. From research to design to testing, our survey instruments measure up to the highest quality standards.
We can tailor our materials to support computer-assisted interviews, paper-and-pencil surveys, surveys on mobile platforms, and other data collection methods.
To improve our survey instruments, we conduct questionnaire reviews, cognitive testing, usability testing, and pretesting. We also support the translation and implementation of questionnaires in multiple languages. These approaches allow us to fine-tune survey instruments to improve comprehension, thus improving results.
