Combining expertise in biological research, data management, and computational biology to develop tools for biomedical research
The evolving field of bioinformatics uses computer science to address basic and applied problems in life sciences research, including epidemiological, genomic, clinical, and translational studies. With experience in data aggregation and integration, our bioinformatics specialists develop elegant systems for searching and browsing metadata, including web-based solutions for data entry and retrieval.
We offer expertise in ontology development, common data elements (CDEs) and standards development and use, mobile applications and high-performance computing, and cloud-based systems. We also provide clients expert analysis of genomic data, including genome-wide associations, gene-environment interactions, and cross-study analysis. Our work supports research in healthy lung development, health interventions, genomic and translational studies, clinical standards, sequence analysis and genome assembly, and metagenomic analysis.
