Supporting multiple modes of data collection with tools that make surveys more efficient and improve data quality
Large surveys require cost-effective solutions that streamline the data collection process. With robust in-house development capabilities, we blend custom survey technology with off-the-shelf software to perform multimode surveys with one core instrument and no need for additional programming.
Improving Data Quality with Survey Technology Services
To improve data quality, collection, and analysis, we provide programming support for multiple modes of data collection, including computer-assisted telephone interviewing (CATI), computer-assisted personal interviewing (CAPI), web surveys, and lately, computer-assisted video interviewing. We also develop applications to collect data on mobile devices. To make it easier to manage field interviews and identify potential fraud or data quality problems, we pioneered the use of computer audio-recorded interviewing (CARI); and computer video-recorded interviewing as well. We developed audio computer-assisted self-interviewing (ACASI) for administering surveys with sensitive topics, earning an Innovators Award from the American Association of Public Opinion Research. Our high-volume mapping services support survey operations and data collection, and we provide offline mobile mapping solutions to support precise field data collection efforts in areas in which Internet connectivity is not available.
