About RTI International
A Culture of Mentorship: Our Internship Program

Academic and Paid Internships

The RTI Internship Program is designed to support university collaboration by engaging students, recent graduates, faculty, and administrators. RTI offers both paid and academic internships. Academic internships are supported by a stipend. A paid or academic designation is included in all internship descriptions. Academic intern prospects must be eligible to receive academic course credit and/or fulfill an academic program requirement.

Internship Eligibility and Openings

Internships are available on a year-round basis – academic year and summer. RTI’s interns include high school, undergraduate, and graduate students, as well as recent degree recipients, who complete internships within a year after graduation. High school students must be 16 years of age at minimum. International students are eligible to apply for internships; however, some opportunities, based on client and project requirements, are only available to U.S. citizens. All internships support RTI’s business and research needs. Required qualifications are listed within each internship posting.
