RTI believes that balance and interconnection form the core of biodiversity conservation solutions — and that programs must account for the ways people, animals, land, and seascapes interact and affect one another. Only integrated, inclusive, locally driven solutions can advance natural climate solutions that support sustainable landscapes and strengthen community resilience.
How we address climate and resilience
We develop and implement sustainable landscapes and adaptation strategies, particularly in land use change and forestry. With decades of experience supporting the U.S. and international scientific community, businesses, and governments, RTI’s climate expertise includes GHG accounting and forecasting, modeling the impacts of climate change on ecosystems and natural resources, and designing inclusive strategies to both mitigate emissions and adapt to changing climate patterns. We developed and deploy USAID’s leading Climate Resilient Development Framework, working with governments, communities, and key stakeholders to integrate resilience into development.
