Jessica Man

Jessica Man is a senior corporate strategy analyst in the Office of Corporate Strategy at RTI. She brings experience and expertise in strategic planning, workshop facilitation, and working alongside c-suite executives across industries. Currently, Ms. Man builds strategy alignment across RTI as it continues to reach towards achieving its North Star ambition. In addition to supporting institute growth initiatives, she also leads RTI’s yearly operating plan process to ensure the organization’s business success.

Ms. Man first joined RTI as part of the Innovation Advisors business unit in 2021. There she held a client-facing role focused on strategic advising to build and execute innovation strategies. She conducted research and facilitation to uncover insights that helped clients recognize critical gaps, create action plans to address them, and make strategic decisions to drive innovation and organizational change, culture transformation, and capacity building. Her experience includes developing roadmaps that align stakeholders from private sector companies to public policymakers around complex research questions and goals.

Before joining RTI, she served as the director of strategic initiatives and chief of staff in the President’s Office at the North Carolina Rural Center. This nonprofit develops, promotes, and implements sound economic strategies to improve the quality of life of low to moderate income communities in rural North Carolina. Along with leading cross-cutting institutional priorities, Ms. Man spearheaded the process to create the organization’s five-year strategic plan. From 2015 to 2019, she was the curatorial assistant to the chief curator at the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York, N.Y., where she helped to curate the critically acclaimed mid-career survey of Los Angeles-based artist Laura Owens.
