RTI’s Elvira Elek will chair the Society for Prevention Research’s 2019 Annual Meeting. As conference chair, she guided the content and direction of this year’s event to focus on the theme of “Prevention Science in a Big Data World.”
For 2019, the conference is placing special emphasis on presentations related to mobile health in prevention science, big data integration, and reducing health disparities to promote health equity.
The Society for Prevention Research brings together more than 800 researchers, policy makers, and practitioners to discuss new concepts, methods, and results from public health-related prevention efforts. The event offers a forum to learn about how to implement the latest, evidence-based prevention interventions in all areas of public health.
