Katie Crowley

Katie Crowley has more than 15 years of experience in international health, including more than nine years working in support of US Agency for International Development (USAID)–funded projects. She currently serves as a Senior Program Manager with USAID’s Act to End NTDs | East, a global flagship initiative to help endemic countries fight neglected tropical diseases (NTDs). Previously, Ms. Crowley served as a Senior Manager on the ENVISION project.

Ms. Crowley provides management oversight and technical expertise to country programs in DRC, Haiti, Tanzania, and Uganda. In addition, she manages the procurement of all neglected tropical disease (NTD) pharmaceuticals and diagnostics provided under Act | East with USAID funding, with commodities including tetracycline eye ointment, filariasis test strips, and Kato Katz kits.  

Ms. Crowley contributes as a member of the NTD Supply Chain Forum, a collaboration between pharmaceutical companies, non-government organizations, donors, the World Health Organization, DHL, and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Working together, members of the Forum aim to improve the delivery of drugs and supplies to more than 70 countries around the world affected by NTDs.

Prior to joining RTI, Ms. Crowley worked at the US Embassy in Lesotho where she served as coordinator of HIV/AIDS programs in Lesotho as part of the President’s Emergency Plan for HIV/AIDS Relief (PEPFAR). She also worked in the US Department of State under the Office of the Global AIDS Coordinator, serving as principal contact for HIV/AIDS programs in Ghana, Malawi, Nigeria, and Rwanda.
