Science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) are critical drivers in a globally competitive, knowledge-based economy. Quality STEM education prepares all students to graduate adequately prepared to address the world’s most pressing problems.

With a focus on critical thinking and inquiry-based learning, we help design, implement, and evaluate engaging, successful STEM programs that develop future leaders in the science and engineering workforce. The evaluation of STEM education programs helps clients create learning environments where students can develop skills and pursue pathways into lucrative careers in STEM, and ultimately positively contribute to our changing global society. 

Strengthening the STEM pipeline 

To meet the growing demand for STEM talent and ensure U.S. global competitiveness, it is essential that all students can fully participate in the science and engineering workforce, starting from the moment a student first enters the classroom.

The earlier students can access STEM education opportunities, the sooner they can develop the skills they will need to pursue competitive, high-wage jobs. We work with our partners to design, evaluate, and manage evidence-based and data-informed STEM education programs. 

Programs like STARward STEM and the Defense STEM Education Consortium (DSEC) exemplify innovative STEM education opportunities for classrooms. Aligned with the DoD STEM Federal STEM Vision, DSEC, a collaborative partnership between academia, industry, not-for-profit organizations, and government, is powering the nation’s defense infrastructure.
