Angela Hinson Quick serves as senior vice president of RTI's Solutions unit, delivering customized solutions to solve complex client challenges.

Dr. Quick joined RTI in 2016 and currently leads the Education Practice Area. She brings deep experience in educational leadership and organizational transformation, having served as deputy chief academic officer for the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction and interim CEO of NC New Schools. She has successfully guided large teams through complex transitions.  

Dr. Quick began her career in the classroom. As a highly awarded teacher and principal, she was active in the development of school infrastructure, cross-community relationships, and curriculum reform. Building on her district-level leadership, she went on to manage state-level projects that involve the design and creation of curriculum and instruction methodologies, comprehensive assessment systems, and accountability models for public schools. As a researcher, Dr. Quick has focused on science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) school design, coursework articulation, and workforce recruitment.
