Scott Sheeder is a senior research environmental engineer at RTI. He is an expert in hydrologic and water quality modeling, water resource assessments, database management systems, and software development. 

Mr. Sheeder has been involved in numerous water resource management projects since joining RTI. His current projects include watershed modeling support for the Catawba Wateree Water Management Group, developing a watershed management plan for Wake County, NC, long-term sedimentation estimation for hydropower utilities, and developing hydrologic modeling and associated software.

Prior to joining RTI, Mr. Sheeder worked for Systech Water Resources and was involved in both development and application of the Watershed Analysis Risk Management Framework (WARMF) model. He used the software to support water management for a number of clients, including the Upper Neuse River Basin Association, the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation, the Electric Power Research Institute, and the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California.

Mr. Sheeder is proficient in hydrologic and water quality analyses, geographic information systems, multiple programming languages (C#, Python, R, VB, C++), and multiple database management systems (SQL, R, Python).
