Greg Keele, PhD, is a statistical geneticist and computational biologist whose research has focused on the development and application of statistical methods to complex phenotypes and diseases. He is an expert in multi-parental mouse models, which capture greater levels of genetic variation than traditional inbred mouse lines and better approximate human populations. He also has extensive experience in modeling high-throughput, quantitative mass-spectrometry proteomics and metabolomics data. This unique expertise has enabled integrative analyses of mouse and human cohorts in red blood cell biology and blood disorders.

Dr. Keele has a broad research portfolio, including work in the genetics of substance use disorder, contributions to data support and analysis within the mapMECFS data portal, metabolomics data QC for the National Institutes of Health’s (NIH’s) Nutrition for Precision Health study, and proteomics data analysis for a clinical trial of urinary incontinence within the NIH Pelvic Floor Disease Network. His research has been supported by the NIH, and he has published over 40 peer-reviewed articles. Before joining RTI, Dr. Keele was a postdoctoral fellow at the Jackson Laboratory.
