Chuck Stevens named president of RTI Health Solutions

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. Independent scientific research institute RTI International has named Chuck Stevens as the next president of RTI Health Solutions, a wholly owned subsidiary of RTI that provides research and consulting services to global biopharmaceutical companies.

“We are pleased to welcome Chuck as the next leader of RTI Health Solutions,” said RTI President and CEO Tim J. Gabel. “His experience growing complex consulting organizations and leading high-performing teams in the biopharmaceutical industry aligns well with the needs of the business. Our Health Solutions business has strong momentum, and Chuck is well positioned to help build on that foundation while continuing to deliver value for our clients.”

Stevens, who was selected following a comprehensive executive search, has more than 25 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical and life sciences sectors, where he has led commercialization, pricing, market access and patient support strategies.

Before joining RTI, he served as CEO of Aventria Health Group and COPILOT Provider Support Services. His career has also included leadership roles at ICON, PAREXEL, Cephalon, Genetics Institute/Wyeth and Abbott, where he built and scaled teams and advised pharmaceutical companies.

“RTI Health Solutions has a strong reputation for helping biopharmaceutical companies generate the evidence needed to improve decision-making and patient outcomes,” said Stevens. “I look forward to working with our talented teams around the world to build on that foundation, strengthen client partnerships and continue delivering high-quality research and consulting services.”

Stevens earned a law degree from Suffolk University Law School, an M.B.A. from Clark University and a bachelor's degree from Northeastern University. He also completed a Senior Executive Program at Harvard’s Kennedy School and is a former Army captain and veteran of Operation Desert Storm.
