Connect

Adam Klich is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, engineer, and entrepreneur with deep experience leading federal innovation programs that accelerate the transition of solutions from research to operational and commercial impact. He specializes working at the intersection of government, industry, and academia, with a focus on innovation ecosystems and partnership enablement. 

Mr. Klich currently leads RTI’s innovation programs for the Department of Energy and Department of Homeland Security, overseeing multi‑year portfolios that support accelerated funding pathways, technology scouting, market and technology assessments, and startup engagement. He also supports innovation programs across the Department of Defense and Intelligence Community, working with partners to design and manage programs that connect innovators working on best of breed technologies. 

Before joining RTI, Mr. Klich co‑founded a startup, commercializing technology from the Air Force Research Laboratory at the intersection of artificial intelligence and metal additive manufacturing. He is a design thinking practitioner and holds a New Product Development Professional (NPDP) credential from the Product Development and Management Association. Born in Brazil, Mr. Klich speaks Portuguese fluently.
