WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Federal Laboratory Consortium (FLC) has entered into a strategic partnership with RTI Innovation Advisors (RTI IA) a business operation within RTI International, a nonprofit research institute. The agreement is part of an ongoing campaign to build stronger relationships and greater collaboration between federal laboratories and forward-thinking organizations to boost entrepreneurial activity between public and private sector organizations.

“Our partnership with FLC amplifies our commitment to ensure that today’s breakthroughs become tomorrow’s solutions,” said Kirsten Rieth, senior director, strategy and innovation at RTI Innovation Advisors. “This collaboration will help bridge the gap between revolutionary research and real-world applications.”

The aim of these public-private partnerships is to support new innovations, leading to job creation and economic benefits.

“This collaboration will enhance FLC’s ability to support technology transfer for the greater good,” said Paul Zielinski, FLC executive director. “RTI Innovation Advisors has a global network that supports bringing technologies to market that have a meaningful impact. We’re excited to work together to build stronger relationships leading to more successful technology transfer activities that benefit society.”
