Todd Rogers has four decades of experience in designing, conducting, and evaluating large-scale, complex interventions that use health communication, policy, systems, and environmental change approaches. His career has bridged population health research and practice domains through transdisciplinary research, participatory action research, and involvement in research translation and dissemination/implementation activities.

Dr. Rogers has led or contributed to dozens of population health research, surveillance, and evaluation projects; technical assistance and training programs; and dissemination/implementation initiatives with funding from U.S. federal agencies, including the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and the National Institutes of Health (NIH); state and local health agencies in California, New York, Florida, and elsewhere; and private foundations, including the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, the California Wellness Foundation, the Kansas Health Foundation, and the Henry J. Kaiser Family Foundation.

Dr. Rogers was a postdoctoral fellow in epidemiology and prevention at Stanford University School of Medicine. He has published widely and served on the editorial board of several scientific journals, including Tobacco Control (Statistics and Methodology Editor, 1997–date) and on various scientific review and advisory committees for state and national public health organizations, including the American Cancer Society, the California Tobacco Control Program, and the California Tobacco-Related Disease Research Program.
