RJ Depietri

Robert (“RJ”) Depietri, PMP, PMI-ACP, has 12 years of experience managing projects, including leading change management and risk management, defining reporting standards, optimizing project operations through process improvement analysis and mitigation, and facilitating ideation sessions. His skills include developing complex program management frameworks; successfully leading cross-functional, multinational projects; writing project plans; and problem solving for business outcomes.

Currently, RJ serves as a senior project manager on the North Carolina Center for Optimizing Military Performance (NC-COMP) Warfighter Brain Health Technology Integration project, leading a team that manages multiple workstream projects for the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD). In his role, RJ ensures budget plans, project plans, and reports are completed in a timely and satisfactory manner and provides additional budget and logistics support.

RJ also supports the National Institute of Health (NIH) Helping to End Addiction Long-Term Initiative (HEAL) Data Stewardship Group, leading a team of project managers who collaborate with NIH-funded studies to get data into the HEAL Ecosystem. He helped revise engagement templates, standard operating procedures, and optimize processes to accelerate study data upload into the HEAL Data Ecosystem by removing barriers for funded studies. 

Prior to joining RTI in 2023, RJ was a Program Manager at NetApp, a Fortune 500 tech company, working in both professional services and new product introduction. During his tenure, he launched a globally adopted innovation program, led multiple services through go-to-market pathways, and led global cross functional new product builds.

RJ is a member of the Project Management Institute (PMI) and holds both the Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification and the Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) certification.
