Julia Chistiakova is a Senior UX/UI Designer who specializes in creating website architecture, wireframes, and conceptual drawings. Since joining RTI international in 2020, her focus has been to design products that aim to improve educational outcomes through digital initiatives such as learning management systems, data-rich microsites, mobile applications, and complex data management systems. She employs branding, iconography, and other collaterals to effectively communicate and promote these products.

Ms. Chistiakova is currently leading UX/UI design activities across multiple projects, including the Early Grade Reading Barometer, which is a platform that provides early grade reading data. She is also contributing to the development of innovative, impactful experiences designed to foster engagement with and retention in the All of Us Research Program. Prior to her RTI tenure, Ms. Chistiakova worked for Opportunity Education. While working for the organization, she designed web and mobile educational apps used by students, teachers, and curriculum creators in the United States and East Africa.

Ms. Chistiakova completed her Nielsen Normal Group UX Certification in February 2022 and became a LUMA Institute Certified Practitioner of Human-Centered Design in August 2022.
