Jeffrey A. Rosen

Jeffrey A. Rosen is a senior research analyst at RTI. He has a broad background in social science research, with specific training and expertise in survey research, secondary data analysis, research design, impact and effectiveness studies, and the development of social emotional skills.

Dr. Rosen is currently a Co- Principal Investigator and Co-investigator on several Institute of Education Sciences (IES) funded studies, including Speak to the Potential, Ability, and Resilience Inside Every Kid (SPARK): A Mentoring Invention for Middle-School Students; Testing the Efficacy of Zoo U for Improving Children’s Social and Emotional Outcomes; and Testing the Efficacy of the CAL-KIBO Educational Robotics Curriculum for Improving Computational Thinking, Fluid Reasoning, and Math Achievement, and Personalization for Academic and Social Emotional Learning.

His most recent published research includes the “Improving SEL outcomes for U.S. 9th graders: Results from a district wide school reform” and the “Social emotional learning in middle school: Developing evidence-based programs.”

Dr. Rosen joined RTI in 2006. Previously, he was a research analyst for the Chicago Public Schools. He is a member of the American Education Research Association, American Association for Public Opinion Research, and Midwest Association for Public Opinion Research.
