Christine H. Lindquist directs the Corrections and Reentry Research Program in the Justice Practice Area at RTI. Her primary research interests and areas of expertise include prisoner reentry, families and incarceration, and the use of technology to improve corrections system outcomes, with a particular focus on evaluating the effectiveness of interventions in these areas. She has extensive experience in multisite evaluation design, having led or co-led several national evaluations of criminal legal system interventions and programs for the National Institute of Justice and other federal agencies, including Project Safe Neighborhoods and federal, state, and community-based reentry initiatives funded under the Second Chance Act and the First Step Act. She has extensively published and presented the results of her research, including for the White House as well as U.S. Congressional officials, with a focus on translating research to improve policy and practice.
