Ben Dalton is an expert on college and career readiness with more than two decades of experience in education research and large-scale education studies. He directs research and data collection activities for the U.S. Department of Education and other public- and private-sector clients. 

Currently, Dr. Dalton serves as a principal investigator for two studies: the Pennsylvania Career and Technical Education Assessments Study and the Delaware Career Development Study. He is a senior advisor for RTI’s work on U.S. News & World Report’s Best High Schools Rankings and for a project studying the effect of learning recovery efforts in Texas. 

In addition to his work, Dr. Dalton holds a professional certificate in What Works Clearinghouse Group Design Standards 5.0 Certified Reviewer.
