Anna M. Aceituno, MSPH is an environmental health scientist and project manager at RTI International. Ms. Aceituno has more than 10 years of experience conducting international and domestic public health research, with expertise in environmental microbiology, maternal and child health and nutrition, food safety, and water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH). She has experience in managing grants from federal agencies, foundations, and non-profit organizations, as well as managing contracts from US and international governments. She has international field experience in Pakistan, India, Bolivia, Mexico, Peru, Honduras, and Costa Rica.

Currently, Ms. Aceituno supports the Project to Understand & Research preterm Pregnancy Outcomes and Stillbirth-South Asia (PURPOSe), and the MITS Surveillance Alliance, both funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.

Ms. Aceituno joined RTI in 2015. Previously, she managed large international research grants for Emory University’s Rollins School of Public Health Center for Global Safe WASH.
