Shari Lambert is the Creative Services Program Manager of Graphic Design at RTI International, where she leads a skilled team of in-house designers and external creative partners. She oversees the strategic development and execution of visual communication across print, digital, video, and interactive media.

An award-winning creative director and senior graphic designer, Ms. Lambert brings over two decades of experience turning research and scientific insights into high-impact health communication. She has led multidisciplinary design efforts for government and private sector organizations helping to shape studies and campaigns that promote public understanding, influence health care decision-making, and support policy advancement.

Ms. Lambert specializes in creating communication materials tailored to hard-to-reach populations. Her portfolio includes experimental stimuli, promotional content, and multilingual products that balance technical accuracy with cultural relevance. Her work supports national initiatives in consumer behavior research, infection prevention, nutrition education, opioid harm reduction, and operational stress mitigation in military populations. She draws on techniques such as interviewing, eye-tracking, and user-centered design to better understand how audiences interact with visual materials and to refine their clarity and effectiveness.

Ms. Lambert is currently exploring novel applications of generative artificial intelligence (AI) to support Design Thinking and Human-Centered Design methodologies. Her research is being conducted as part of her graduate thesis within Radford University’s Design Thinking Program.
