Prasanna Perumal

As an energy business analyst with RTI International India, Prasanna Perumal conducts techno-commercial analysis of newer technologies and develops roadmaps for commercialization of technologies developed at RTI. He has also managed market research and business development activity for clients in air quality, energy, consumer goods, and water and sanitation.

Currently, Mr. Perumal provides technical support to the Sanitation Technology Platform, or STeP, a project that aims to develop and test novel sanitation technologies as part of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation’s Reinvent the Toilet Challenge. His past projects include coordinating the India region for an effort to find contract research organizations to test mosquito repellent in five countries. He also supported our team as we conducted air pollution workshops in four cities in the northern part of India.
