Michelle Woods

With over 18 years of experience in education, Michelle Woods is a recognized authority in Project-Based Learning (PBL) and Inquiry-Based Learning (IBL). Michelle's passion lies in nurturing innovative, student-centered approaches that engage learners and prepare them for future success. Michelle’s expertise shines when collaborating with schools to craft robust instruction programs such as PBL and IBL that seamlessly align with educational goals and standards. Michelle provides additional support to schools in PBL strategic planning, leadership support, professional learning, and coaching.

Prior to RTI, Michelle was a PBL Coach & Consultant where she played a pivotal role in the founding of an early college and the pioneering of their PBL program. Before her work in PBL, Michelle's rich background included experiences as an English as a Second Language adjunct professor, instructional coach, and curriculum writer, with a strong emphasis on serving multilingual learners. Michelle is also an Associate Certified Leadership Coach (ACC) with the International Coaching Federation. She began her career as a dedicated high school English as a Second Language teacher.
