Meredith Pinto

Meredith Pinto is a program manager for RTI's Global Public Health Science and Practice Program in the Global Public Health Impact Center. She specializes in program evaluation using qualitative and mix-method approaches through multidisciplinary collaboration on evaluation planning, implementation, data collection, and analysis. She has more than seven years of experience working in global health security (GHS).

At RTI, Ms. Pinto leads a team embedded in the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Since 2018, she has collaborated with CDC's Division of Global Health Protection (DGHP) to monitor and evaluate the Division's GHS capacity building in surveillance, laboratory systems, workforce development, and emergency management and response. In addition, she provides technical support for program evaluation and reporting, leads complex data analysis and evaluations on the understanding of CDC's GHS impact, and develops strategies for the DGHP's Monitoring and Evaluation framework and evaluation plans.

Before joining RTI in 2018, Ms. Pinto worked at CDC supporting public health emergency management capacity building for GHS. She participated in CDC's outbreak responses, including the West Africa Ebola Outbreak Response in 2014-2016.

Ms. Pinto is a member of the American Evaluation Association, the Atlanta Evaluation Association, and a Truman National Security Project Member.
