Medina Poole is the Director of Program Design and Implementation in the International Education Division at RTI International. She has extensive experience working in international development, in a variety of roles, with a focus on education governance and systems improvements.

Ms. Korda Poole leads a team of project management professionals to improve the quality and delivery of impactful education projects globally. Over the past 15 years, Ms. Korda Poole has directly managed over $100 million in international education projects. She has also demonstrated a strong track record in proposal development, generating over $250 million of revenue over the past decade. She is an experienced leader and manager with eight direct reports and over 20 matrixed project management specialists.. She also serves on the International Education Management Team where she contributes to strategic planning with regard to the quality of project implementation. Ms. Korda Poole is also a member of a cross-divisional team focused on identifying and improving effectiveness of project management practices.

Ms. Korda Poole currently serves as the home office project manager for the USAID-funded Okuu Keremet! (Learning is Awesome!) project. This project is designed to help improve learning outcomes in reading and math among 300,000 students in Grades 1-4 in over 1,600 target schools in the Kyrgyz Republic. She has also managed several multimillion-dollar international education projects, including School Health, Reading Program Uganda School, Literacy Achievement and Retention Activity Uganda, Early Grade Reading Project in Kenya; Early Grade Reading Program in Liberia; CESLY project; LTTP in Liberia. Finally, she is a Portfolio Manager of 2 flagship projects – Jordan Reading and Math Project (RAMP), and Georgia Basic Education Program.

Ms. Korda Poole is a certified project management professional (PMP). She is also a visual storyteller and holds a Certificate in Videography and Documentary Arts from Duke University.
