Connect

Mary Kate Shapley-Quinn leverages a background in international health and community development to coordinate qualitative research within clinical trials at all phases, with a focus on HIV prevention. As an analyst with the Women’s Global Health Imperative, she studies end-user perspectives on HIV prevention products such as microbicides. She also provides technical assistance and training for staff in San Francisco and sub-Saharan Africa.

Prior to joining RTI, Ms. Shapley-Quinn served in the Peace Corps for two years in Niassa, Mozambique as a community health volunteer strengthening home-based care for HIV/AIDs patients, orphans, and vulnerable children.

The Women’s Global Health Imperative is dedicated to improving the health status of women and girls around the world.
