Jennifer Schoden is a public health research analyst, writer, and project coordinator with experience assisting the implementation of projects ranging from university-based studies to studies for federal government agencies such as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, and the U.S. Department of Defense. Ms. Schoden writes literature reviews and technical reports and assists with systematic reviews and peer-reviewed journal articles. Her skills include medical records abstraction; technical assistance liaising; data checking, categorizing, and clinical editing; developing surveys; designing, piloting, and implementing tests for research; and conducting cognitive interviews. Ms. Schoden develops qualitative interview codebooks and qualitative thematic analysis coding definitions, as well as conducting and supervising qualitative thematic analysis coding. She leads project coordination tasks such as corresponding with grantees, consultants, subcontractors, and clients; as well as managing deliverables and timelines.

Her background also includes administering individual intelligence and achievement tests, conducting school assessments, and working with children and their families in medical settings.

Ms. Schoden currently serves as an abstract reviewer for the American Public Health Association (APHA) Annual Meeting and Expo, American Medical Informatics Association (AMIA) Annual Symposium/Informatics Summit, and AMIA Clinical Informatics Conference. She is also a member of Psi Chi, the International Honor Society in Psychology.
