Jenna Green-Ross is a communications analyst at RTI. Currently, she serves as an Advance Arrangements Community Outreach Associate for the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES), administered by the National Center for Health Statistics under the CDC. NHANES is the only nationally representative study collecting in-depth health and nutritional data across all age groups. In her role, Ms. Green-Ross helps plan and implement community engagement strategies to support survey operations—building relationships with local stakeholders and identifying accessible, trusted spaces for mobile health exam centers.

In addition to NHANES, Ms. Green-Ross has supported other high-impact federal health initiatives at RTI, including projects for the CDC, NIH, and HRSA. Her work spans qualitative research, stakeholder outreach, and plain-language communications—contributing to efforts that improve vaccine access, Long COVID awareness, and newborn screening education.

She previously served as Family Planning Division Coordinator and Interim Lead Project Manager for Hyperlocal COVID-19 Efforts at Cook County Health. She led operational, outreach, and research initiatives to expand access to reproductive care, vaccination, and testing in underserved communities. Ms. Green-Ross oversaw clinical trials, managed multi-site vaccine operations, created public-facing educational campaigns, and developed tracking tools adopted as system-wide protocols. She collaborated with municipal leaders, built internal and external communications assets, and secured funding for Maternal Child Health programs—merging health literacy, design strategy, and data-driven coordination to support public health response.

To date, Ms. Green-Ross's experience spans qualitative data management, community outreach, content development, and coordination of field logistics. Throughout her career, she has supported healthcare operations, led the development of coding protocols, and translated complex findings into accessible materials for a range of clients.

Ms. Green-Ross is also a member of the American Public Health Association and the Delta Omega Honor Society. In addition to her work at RTI, Ms. Green-Ross volunteers with the Arlington Medical Reserve Corps and works as a Teaching Assistant at Johns Hopkins for the Health Communications Primer Course.
