Jacqueline Bagwell, a member of our Applied Health Informatics program, is a versatile clinical research professional with experience in experience in systems integrations, application development and testing, project management, patient engagement, cost-benefit analysis and data standards implementation.

Among Ms. Bagwell’s current projects are Comprehensive Primary Care Plus (CPC+) and the Use of Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) in Health Care. She works with multidisciplinary teams to design, implement, and administer intervention and feasibility studies. She has experience working with engineers, developers, stakeholders and programmers to create, test, and deploy information technology applications to collect and integrate data from multiple clinical systems and from consumer wearable devices, recruit potential research participants, and engage patients in their treatment plans. Additional areas of work include the use of standards-based tools for data exchange and quality measure reporting. 

Ms. Bagwell joined RTI in 2017. Previously, she studied clinical informatics at Duke’s Fuqua School of Business, focusing on clinical decision support and use of mobile technologies in patient care.
