Benjamin Huber is a research economist at RTI, where he researches Medicare and Medicaid coverage policies and manages and analyzes Medicare and Medicaid claims data. Currently, Mr. Huber leads a team responsible for claims data related to substance use disorder treatment for the Federal Meta Support contract. This project examines the impact of Section 1115 waivers on state Medicaid programs. Additionally, Mr. Huber is the quantitative lead on the evaluation of CMS Opioid Use Disorder Value in Treatment demonstration. 

Before joining RTI in 2019, Mr. Huber served as a student trainee at CMS in the Center for Medicare’s ambulatory policy group.
