RTI International designated “Awardable” for defense work in the CDAO’s Tradewinds Solutions Marketplace

Designation affirms RTI’s readiness to deliver advanced AI and analytics for defense missions


RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. — RTI International, an independent scientific research institute, today announced that it has achieved “Awardable” status through the Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Office’s (CDAO) Tradewinds Solutions Marketplace.

The Tradewinds Solutions Marketplace is the premier offering of Tradewinds, the Department of Defense’s (DoD’s) suite of tools and services designed to accelerate the procurement and adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI)/Machine Learning (ML), data and analytics capabilities.

“Being recognized as ‘Awardable’ in the Tradewinds Marketplace validates our commitment to developing technologies that meet the operational needs of defense agencies,” said Karen Crotty, Ph.D., MPH, senior director, Center for Health Economics, Methods, and Evidence Synthesis at RTI. “Our team has worked to ensure our solutions are not only technically sound but also mission-ready.”

RTI's video, “Automation of Systematic Review Services,” is accessible only by government customers on the Tradewinds Solutions Marketplace. It presents RTI’s offering of a streamlined, AI-assisted approach to systematic reviews that supports faster, more informed decision making. The method integrates human expertise with logic-based software and artificial intelligence to reduce review timelines and costs while maintaining scientific rigor.

RTI was recognized among a competitive field of applicants to the Tradewinds Solutions Marketplace whose solutions demonstrated innovation, scalability and potential impact on DoD missions.
