This report presents an independent validation study of the MPOS Quality Assurance Rubric, which was developed to support consistent application of the MPOS Quality Standards for micro-credentials. Using independent reviews of a diverse sample of micro-credentials, the study examined the rubric’s reliability, usability, and effectiveness in supporting quality assessments. Findings suggest the rubric provides a strong foundation for evaluating micro-credential quality while identifying several areas for refinement. Results will inform future improvements to the rubric and support the MPOS Partnership’s efforts to advance high-quality micro-credential development and review practices.
