Wayne L. Anderson

Wayne L. Anderson, PhD, focuses on long-term care financing, organizational, and workforce issues; disability; medical homes; managed care arrangements; and consumer knowledge. He has played leading roles in federally funded research projects, including studies for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services to understand the effects of various state home and community-based services program designs on health care costs and use, understand system-level changes in state long-term care systems, analyze health care services for Medicare/Medicaid dually eligible beneficiaries, evaluate medical home demonstrations, and support the development of the Home Health Care Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems. His experience includes performing statistical analyses of survey and secondary data, conducting cost-effectiveness and cost-benefit analyses, designing and implementing data collection instruments, and conducting qualitative analysis, including structured interviews.
