Alyssa Mesich

Alyssa Mesich is a Senior Communications Manager at RTI International, where she leads the International Development Group’s external communication efforts across sustainable growth, resilience, and climate change. With a passion for showcasing RTI’s scientific expertise, she aligns her work with the organization’s commitment to advancing a more sustainable and equitable future. 

With over 10 years of experience in communications, Ms. Mesich has a proven track record in developing and implementing communication and marketing strategies, producing compelling narratives, and analyzing key metrics to improve communication impact. Before joining RTI, she served as a Communications Advisor at the USAID Kenya and East Africa Mission and as an Economic Analyst for the U.S. Department of State. While at the U.S. Department of State, Ms. Mesich received a Meritorious Honor Award for her contributions. Ms. Mesich's diverse experience also includes communication roles in non-profit organizations, a family foundation, and a start-up company. She completed a year of service with AmeriCorps and has lived in Kenya, Israel, and the United States.
