Stacey Oliver

Stacey Oliver is a natural resources manager with experience in the technical and operational implementation of development programs that foster sustainable and community-driven natural resources management and conservation. She leads projects and business development opportunities specializing in wildlife and forest management and policy, terrestrial and marine conservation, human-wildlife conflict, and protected areas management. She also provides technical guidance to programs that focus on climate, environment, and natural resource management.

Ms. Oliver’s international experience has brought her to multiple countries across West and East Africa and Asia. She currently manages the USAID Uganda Biodiversity for Resilience (B4R) Activity, which supports community wildlife conservation, collaborative forest management, climate change adaptation, and protected area management. B4R's approach strengthens the resilience of local communities through market-based solutions that improve natural resource management and foster collaboration between key government agencies and community members.

Before joining RTI in 2015, Ms. Oliver did project management for U.S. Government-funded research and was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Guinea, West Africa, where she focused on science education, by organizing community outreach presentations and teaching middle and high school Chemistry, Biology and English. She is proficient in French.
