Peter Collier

Peter Collier is the Chief of Party for the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) End Wildlife Crime project. He has more than 20 years of international development experience leading complex, regional initiatives covering the Asia Pacific, including U.S. Support to the Coral Triangle Initiative, U.S. Support to the Indian Ocean Tsunami Warning System, and USAID’s Program for Enhancement of Emergency Response. He has coordinated large-scale capacity strengthening initiatives for United Nations’ disaster management programs across the Asia Pacific, and has extensive experience working with senior government officials, coordinating intergovernmental and multilateral bodies in regional governance and policy reform. He previously served as Chief of Party for the (USAID) Reducing Demand for Wildlife activity and the USAID Wildlife Asia activity, which made notable strides towards reducing both the demand for and the supply of wildlife and wildlife products in Southeast Asia and China.
